Hadeflex X

The Hadeflex X coupling is a torsionally flexible fail-safe claw coupling made of grey cast iron with an elastomer star.

This star is the heart of the elastomer coupling. It transmits the torque and compensates for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. The hardness of the elastomer core determines the torque to be transmitted and ensures important factors such as damping and torsional stiffness.

The Hadeflex X shaft coupling is available in two different designs. The XW design is standard for cylindrical finish bores with keyway and set screw, which we insert according to customer specifications. In addition, special bores or profile splines are also possible on request.

The TX design is prepared for the installation of commercially available taper bushes.

The taper bush system offers a simple, cost-effective and flexible variant of the shaft-hub connection. Due to the internationally standardised sizes of the taper bushings, changes in the bore diameters can be implemented easily and quickly from stock.
