Power belts - sheathed and open flanks

The Strongbelt kraftband consists of V-belts of the same length which are connected with each other through a top surface. This compact drive product with single belt characteristic is also called the joined V-belt. According to the use, kraftbands are equipped with two, three, four or five ribs. If necessary, kraftbands with more than five ribs are available. Set combinations are required when using several power belts per drive.

It is also possible to equip the top surface with special top surfaces.

Areas of application

With success, the kraftbands are used in mechanical engineering e.g. on filter vibrators, gang saws, stone crushers, road construction machines, compressors, fans, turning lathes, grinding machines and milling machines. In agricultural machines, Strongbelt kraftbands are also necessary as clutch belts. Based on the single belt characteristic, a good clutching in and out is ensured.

For transport tasks, Strongbelt kraftbands can be equipped with an additional top surface. With profiled top surfaces, it is suitable for the transport of containers and heavy loads, e.g. when loading airplanes.
