Sprockets have a significant influence on the efficiency and service life of the entire drive. Our high-quality sprockets are made of steel or grey cast iron EN-GJL-200 (old GG-20) according to DIN 8187 or ISO 606 and are available for taper bushings.

The taper bush system offers a simple, cost-effective and flexible variant of the shaft-hub connection. Due to the internationally standardised sizes of the taper bushings, changes in the bore diameters can be implemented easily and quickly from stock.

Sprockets transmit the torque positively. This makes it possible to transmit comparatively large torques without slippage. With sprockets of different sizes, reductions of up to 1:7 can be realised.

They are suitable for use on single, double or triple chains.

  • Extensive standard range of many types and dimensions

  • High availability

  • Favourable price-performance ratio

  • Interchangeable due to international standardisation- Easy assembly

  • Suitable for high temperatures

  • Compact drive solutions

In addition to our standard range, we also supply sprockets with hardened teeth, as well as special designs according to individual customer specifications.

Areas of application

Chain drives are used in numerous applications throughout general mechanical and plant engineering, such as conveyor and assembly systems, packaging machines, agriculture and forestry, as well as in mining and heavy industry.
