WELD-ON HUBS

Our steel taper weld-in hubs offer a convenient way to quickly and easily mount rotating parts such as sprockets, fan wheels and other devices onto a shaft.

The two types WM and WH with their different sizes, offer a wide range of variations of different diameters for use in many typical applications. The components to be mounted can be aligned and welded very easily using a centring device.

The weld-in hubs are prepared for the installation of commercially available taper bushes.

The taper bush system offers a simple, cost-effective and flexible variant of the shaft-hub connection. Due to the internationally standardised sizes of the taper bushings, changes in the bore diameters can be implemented easily and quickly from stock.

Areas of application

Taper weld-in hubs are mainly used in steel and welded constructions, in conveyor technology with e.g. belt pulleys or chain wheel pulleys and in air conditioning and ventilation technology. In addition, however, they can also be used in all general mechanical engineering.
