FLANGEE BEARINGS DIN 502/503

The flanged bearings according to DIN 502 and DIN 503 are robust grease-lubricated plain bearings made of high-quality grey cast iron.

The flanged plain bearings according to DIN 502 are designed with a 2-hole mounting and according to DIN 503 with a 4-hole mounting.

The bearings are available with plain bearing bushes according to DIN 8221 (form A) or without plain bearing bush (form B).

Our available standard bushings are made of gunmetal (RG7). However, other bearing bushes, e.g. with solid lubricants, can also be used.

Depending on the operating conditions, the flange bearings can be used up to sliding speeds of approx. 1.5 m/s.

The lubrications for plain bearings withstand different temperature ranges. Commercially available lubricating greases can be used at temperatures of the plain bearing up to approx. 110°C. With solid lubricants, however, temperatures up to approx. 450°C are also possible.

Advantages

  • Extensive standard range

  • Good friction values

  • Resistant to shocks and impacts

  • Insensitive to dirt and dust

  • Absorption of high loads

  • Easy to mount

  • Long service life

Areas of application

Plain bearings according to DIN 502 and DIN 503 are suitable for many applications, e.g. in the wood and steel industry, in chemical plants and in the food industry. Furthermore, in all general mechanical engineering.
